Topic: Women Venture Capitalists: The VC world as they see it
Despite advances of women in business, they still represent barely 10% of all venture capitalists. What is life like in that world that impacts so many start-ups? In this lively panel discussion, women VCs will talk about:
- how they got into the business
- the challenges they have faced as venture capitalists
- the value they bring to the decision-making process of funding
- their perception of why women entrepreneurs receive a disproportionately low percent of investments
- suggestions they have for participants considering becoming entrepreneurs or VCs.
There will be time at the end for questions about how it all works or what it all means. If you have questions you would like to have asked of the panel, send them to us at techwomensgroup (at) sdforum.org.
And- yes- men are welcome to attend. (We've had several men ask us....)
