    Bundeep Singh Rangar, Ariadne Capital

    Bundeep Singh Rangar is the Founder and COO of Ariadne Capital and heads the company's Client Services division that helps companies access capital, secure talent and build sales. In addition to creating the Ariadne Capital "income rights" model - whereby the client services unit focuses on deal closure through a share in the upside of commercial transactions. In his work at Ariadne Capital, Bundeep has helped companies ranging from software to telecoms to nanotechnology secure commercial contracts and get traction in the UK and European markets. Bundeep was most recently the Managing Director of Technology Markets at specialist investment bank Quartz Capital, until it was acquired and integrated into U.S.-based Knight Trading Group, NASDAQ's largest market-maker. Previously, he was the Entrepreneur-In-Residence at Saffron Hill Ventures, an investment group backed by Lord Jacob Rothschild and Lord Maurice Saatchi, where he was responsible as interim CEO for the launch of Concept Asian Media, a U.K. Yellow Pages and online business targeted at Asian-owned small and medium sized enterprises. Prior to 2000, Bundeep headed the European Internet coverage for Bloomberg News out of London. In July 1999, he created the first index of publicly-traded European Internet stocks (Bloomberg: BEUNET ) while analyzing Internet, software, IT and telecoms companies and trends. He also started and hosted Europe's first daily live TV news show about the Internet called @Bloomberg. Bundeep has also worked at CityTV in Toronto and Satellite Television Asian Region (STAR) TV in Hong Kong as a news director, producer and reporter. In London, he has also consulted for Esther Dyson's iGabriel angel investor network, IT consultancy Razorfish, Inc., legacy systems transformation software firm Relativity Technologies, Inc., unified messaging company Your Always Connected (YAC) and Aquent, Inc. the world's largest creative talent staffing agency. Prior to Hong Kong, he ran a paralegal consulting practice in Montreal, Canada. Bundeep holds a MSJ degree from Columbia University, New York and a BA in Economics and Political Science from McGill University, Montreal.


    Ralph Harman, Investment Banker at First Principles Group

    Mr. Haman has over 20 years of corporate and investment banking experience in Europe with senior roles at Credit Suisse First Boston, Credit Suisse and Banque Indosuez. He has held posts such as head of Corporate Banking, Structured and Acquisition Finance Groups for Banque Indosuez in London and head of Credit and Corporate Restructuring at Credit Suisse France. Recent M&A and restructuring experience includes the French restructuring of CSFB/Credit Suisse, CSFB/BZW and CSFB/DLJ, Alcatel's acquisition of Newbridge Networks ($7.1Bn), Sema Group's sale to Schlumberger, Framatome's $1Bn+ bid for Westinghouse' U.S. power business, and the Stade de France innovative financing structure for the French Ministry and services for Vivendi Environment.
