    Speaker Bio


    Marianne Adoradio, Career Consultant, Design Your Direction

    Marianne has a career consulting business, Design Your Direction, in San Jose for individuals and organizations. Her clients include all levels of employees from non-exempt through to executive in all functional areas.

    Marianne works with individuals on both tactical and strategic issues from job search to career transition and development. Her corporate work includes designing a custom employee outplacement transition program for Symantec, facilitating career development workshops at Hewlett-Packard, IBM, and Logitech; implementing an employee career counseling center (counseling, coaching,workshops) at IBM; and, designing career and management development tools for AMD.

    Marianne has worked with well over 5000 individual clients. She is certified in the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator, the Strong Interest Inventory, and the Birkman Method of assessment for management and executive coaching and career transition.
