Eric Ariyoshi, Sr Brand Manager, Campari America. Eric has spent over the last 10 years working on branding issues in alcohol beverage, with experience across a range of categories and brands. At Campari America, he led the turn-around of the iconic Midori brand through the use of celebrity platforms. Prior to Campari, while at DFV Wines, he specialized in launching and growing “modern” brands such as 337, which as a single SKU achieved 100,000 cases in less than a year’s time. Prior to entering the alc beverage industry, he spent time in the strategic consulting industry, specializing on institutional money management. Ryan Hilbert, Special Counsel, Sheppard Mullin Richter & Hampton LLP. Ryan practices in the Intellectual Property and Litigation Practice Groups in Sheppard Mullin's Palo Alto office and is a member of the firm's Sports Industry Team. Mr. Hilbert has extensive experience in all aspects of complex civil litigation, especially in the areas of trademark and unfair competition, copyright, trade dress, rights of publicity, domain names and consumer protection. He has litigated disputes in federal and state courts nationwide, as well as before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board. Mr. Hilbert also has extensive experience counseling clients on the selection, adoption and prosecution of trademarks worldwide as well as in effective resolution of global trademark disputes. In addition, he routinely counsels clients on cutting edge intellectual property matters, including those involving domain names, computer-related torts, and DMCA take-down notices. Mr. Hilbert's sports law practice includes representing the United States Olympic Committee, Churchill Downs Incorporated, several NFL Hall of Famers, and others in various litigation, licensing and sponsorship matters. Hilbert received his J.D. from Santa Clara University School of Law and a B.A. from the University of California, Los Angeles. Vishaal Melwani, CEO and Creative Director, CombatGent. Before becoming the CEO and Creative Director at CombatGent, Vishaal spent many years drudging through the depths of the “rag-trade”. His dynamic family businesses, which owned and operated boutiques from such high-end designers as Versace and Cavalli, were instrumental in Vishaal’s evolution in fashion. Vishaal delved deep into the intricacies of the world of couture, refining his expertise in all aspects of the business from supply chain to the cutting and sewing of a single garment. Needless to say, Vishaal is no stranger to the fashion world. His focus not only lies in delivering high quality garments with affordable production techniques but even more so in branding with high-end fashion elements.
