Enterprise Information Integration (EII) is an emerging enterprise software category that addresses the issues of managing distributed heterogeneous information systems to provide a composite view of information (ie single view of truth). Composite Software has pioneered work on dealing with high-performance query optimization across web service data services and relational sources to provide for leading-edge technology. This talk will focus on the use cases for EII, the technical challenges of an EII solution, the technical issues of managing query optimization and distribution entitlement, and the path by which EII can extend existing investments in business intelligence.
About the Presenter
Murthy was most recently the lead analyst at the Sand Hill Group, where he co-authored the widely acclaimed Web Services Derby reports. Previously, he was a senior vice president of Enterprise Products at DealTime, the market leader in commerce search technology. Before that, he was founder and CEO of Digital Jones, a startup focused on next-generation guided selling solutions, and subsequently acquired by DealTime. He started his career with Bain & Co as a senior consultant, engaged with clients in the US, South Africa and Singapore.
Murthy holds a B.Tech from IIT Madras, an MS from MIT and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
