  • Topic: Advanced GWT Topics -- Deferred Binding

The Google Web Toolkit (GWT) ( is an open-source Java to JavaScript compiler and runtime environment that provides Java developers with familiar, powerful, and flexible means with which to develop AJAX applications.  Most of the advanced features of GWT, like ImageBundle, RPC, and I18N are implemented using GWT's "deferred binding" feature. This presentation will consist of a short introduction to GWT and then focus on the use of deferred binding as a means to implement both dependency injection and compile-time code generation in your GWT project.
