Web Services: The Dark Side
Yes, we're all excited about the potential for web services, and many of us are already implementing them. But what will it take before the big dreams of web services can be realized? In this presentation, Doug Kaye will explore the dark side: security, transactions, reliable asynchronous messaging, orchestration and choreography, QoS, contracts and other business issues, infrastructure, and the big one: industry-specific semantics.
