Panelists and Moderator Bios
1996 Randy Williams founded the WilliamsCompanies, an Investment and Advisory firm specializing in Real Estate and Technology Investment Banking. In the Real Estate sector he has represented and closed over $2B in the United States and Canada primarily with technology companies. The scope of his work has included portfolio dispositions to complex sale-leaseback transactions and cross border sales assignments. In the Tech sector the company acts as a venture catalyst that funds early round investments in the business to business e-commerce sector. Mr. Williams has over 25 years of experience in finance, marketing, acquisition, and development. Prior to the The WilliamsCompanies, Randy was President of Pacific Union Commercial. He is a founder of LaMorinda Bank and Managing Director of Kennedy-Wilson International, an international real estate invesment banking firm. Randy graduated with a BS from UC Berkeley and a Masters from St. Mary’s College.
Bob has senior management experience in high-tech enterprises such as Vetronix Sales Corporation, Altos Computer Systems, and Wang Labratories. He was the founder of two high-tech businesses and has technical skills in software engineering. Bob is a board member for: Hipbone, Metasound, Searchbutton (acquired by Mondosoft) among others. Bob is a graduate from the University of Cincinnati (Distinguished Alumnus Award) and Northeastern University.
Charles R. Boggs
Charles R. Boggs is Executive Vice President at IC Growth, Inc. and an Advisory Board Member at the Silicon Valley World Internet Center. IC Growth is an intellectual capital conversion company, working with clients to maximize shareholder wealth through creating and converting value from their intellectual capital.
Mr. Boggs is a co-founder of Centegy Corporation, an Internet Business Solutions provider focused on the Supply Chain Management market. Previously, as Vice President of NovaLink USA, he designed and managed the development of more than 60 website projects for clients such as American Express Travel Services, Harvard’s Deaconess Medical Center, and Digital Equipment Corporation.
Prior to NovaLink, Mr. Boggs was the Principal of Boggs and Associates Management Consultants and performed strategic marketing, organization and planning engagements for over 18 high-technology clients. Mr. Boggs attended San Francisco State University and majored in Radio, Television and Film Production.
Tom is an entrepreneur and lawyer who has started and sold several companies and now advises startups and venture funds in the areas of venture funding and IP/Licensing as head of the Emerging Companies Practice of the law firm of Thelen Reid & Priest LLP in San Francisco.
Tom is outside counsel and/or advisory board member for several technology trade associations and most recently co-founded the Golden Gate Angels investment group in SF with Silicon Valley Bank and Science Venture Partners. Tom has a JD/MBA from Harvard University and an BA from Loyola Marymount University.
Kevin is responsible for sales, marketing, and operations at Mollyguard. Kevin was most recently a Principal at iMinds Ventures, a $70 million early stage technology investment fund. Prior to iMinds Ventures, Kevin was a co-founder and VP of Marketing of Connect Group, acquired by Lodgenet (NASD:LNET). Prior to Connect Group, Kevin was a software product manager at Silicon Graphics. Kevin has a Masters from Oxford and a BA and BS from Stanford University. Kevin is a seed investor in PayPal.
