About the Presenter
Jim French is a partner in PricewaterhouseCoopers’ Bay Area Technology group with over 13 years of experience. He has devoted virtually all of the last 5 years to serving the needs of fast-growth companies in the software industry.
Mr. French has worked with both emerging and mature companies through periods of high growth and international expansion and has assisted with deal structuring and performing due diligence related to mergers and acquisitions for several of his multinational clients.
He has extensive experience with SEC reporting, including initial and secondary public equity and debt offerings and registration of shares in connection with corporate mergers.
Mr. French is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, California Society of Certified Public Accountants.
He graduated from the University of Connecticut.
Jim is a regular speaker on the topic of software revenue recognition and equity based compensation issues at industry conferences and for private groups (e.g., law firms, commercial banks, VC’s, etc.).
