Bobbie LaPorte, Founder and Principal of RAL & Associates & triathlete
Roberta (Bobbie) LaPorte, is Founder and Principal of RAL & Associates, a consulting firm providing leadership and career development services to technology and financial services organizations. RAL & Associates also produces the award-winning “When She Speaks” – Women in Leadership Series, sponsored by Charles Schwab, IBM, PG&E and Salesforce.com.
Before founding RAL & Associates, Ms. LaPorte served in GM, COO and CMO roles in several Fortune 50 companies, including IBM, GE, Citigroup and United Healthcare. A certified career coach, she has a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Massachusetts and an MBA from Harvard. A nationally-recognized expert on the powerful relationship between physical fitness and career success, she is an accomplished triathlete and multi-sport coach. Bobbie is currently training for her fifth Ironman triathlon. When she is not coaching executives or Ironman triathletes, she proudly serves on a number of Bay Area non-profit Boards and happily rescues Golden Retriever dogs.
Barbara Massa, VP McAfee & competitive soccer athlete
Barbara joined McAfee in June of 2009 to lead their first ever Global Talent Acquisition organization. She oversees global talent & recruitment strategies, executive search, employment branding, university relations, contingent labor program(s), and social media strategies aligned with recruitment , engagement and acquisition of talent. Barbara provides leadership for the overall Diversity initiatives across McAfee and is co-chair of the Career Development & Mobility initiative. Prior to McAfee, Barbara led Talent Acquisition function at EMC, Documentum, Cadence Design Systems and at an external recruiting firm. Barbara has played competitive indoor & outdoor soccer weekly in both women’s and co-ed leagues in Silicon Valley for over 30 years. Most importantly, she is a wife and loving mother to a beautiful 6 year old daughter and a rambunctious 20 month old son.
Leslie Bull, Major Account Exec at HarvestMark & triathlete
Leslie is a 15 year, enterprise sales executive working in the Bay Area for many well known tech companies such as Autodesk and Oracle and several venture-based start-ups . She is also an avid athlete and competitor. She is a two time-Ironman finisher with multiple podium finishes at Olympic and half Ironman distances. Leslie enjoys mentoring young sales executives and people excited about challenging themselves athletically. She has two philosophies she lives by: “consume life” and “if it’s a job worth doing, do it well.” She has served on the board of the Pulmonary Fibrosis Organization and has done fundraising for them through her athletics.
