Description

  • RAD with ADO.NET, Enterprise Services, Web Services, and WinForms

    Presenter

    Heinrich Gantenbein, IDesign - IDesign

    Presentation Overview

RAD with ADO.NET, Enterprise Services, Web Services, and WinForms

Heinrich will pick up where he left off with his August talk by separating the logical 3-tier application into physical 3-tiers by using VS.NET and System.EnterpriseServices.ServicedComponent (aka COM+). A web service will be used to access the business object layer from the previously developed client. He will discuss the framework objects and generated code used to achieve this, and highlight advantages and disadvantages of the approach used. Finally, he will address problems with RAD for multi-tier development and workarounds for the current version of ADO.NET.
