    Presentation Overview

Wednesday’s panel of the SaaS SIG brings together SaaS technologists to discuss key infrastructure and development challenges in enabling scalable and maintainable on-demand platforms. What are the pros and con’s of multi-tenant versus multi-instance? Who’s delivering state-of-the-art user interface design, customization, interoperability and speed? Topics include techniques for integrating SaaS with proprietary customer applications and maintaining compatibility. We’ll examine hosting and datacenter best practices, security, provisioning and winding-down of services. The session investigates proprietary and open source tools and platforms that facilitate application development and delivery. Come hear SaaS technology experts offer their perspectives on these key issues.
