    About the Speakers

    Srikanth Raju

    Srikanth Raju is a Staff Engineer and Technology Evangelist at Sun Microsystems. Srikanth has extensive experience in Software Development, specifically in Java, Distributed, and Wireless Technologies. As a Principal Java Wireless Technology Evangelist, Srikanth consults, speaks, teaches and writes about Java and Wireless technologies. Srikanth has published extensively and has spoken intechnical conferences around the world such as JavaOne and Sun Technology Days on subjects such as J2ME, J2SE, J2EE,WebServices, Java and VM Performance Tuning, RFID, Java and .NET interoperability, N1 Grid Computing, Jini, JXTA, Solaris, etc. Srikanth is also a owner of two patent pending inventions using the J2ME, and JavaCard Technologies. Srikanth has a BS degree in Electrical Engineering and a MS degree in Computer Science.

     

    Dr. Doris Chen

    Dr. Doris Chen is a staff engineer/Technology Evangelist at Sun Microsystems. As a Technology Evangelist, Doris' expertise includes web services, J2ME[tm] platform wireless programming, J2EE[tm] technologies, JSP[tm] technology and Servlets, Java[tm] technology performance tuning, grid computing, and web-based distributed computing. She speaks on these topic at major industry conferences around the world including JavaOne, Sun Network Conference, Software Development, etc. Before coming to Sun, Doris developed medical image compression applications and web-based network management products. Doris received her Ph.D. from the University of California at Los Angeles (UCLA) in computer engineering, specializing in medical informatics.
