    Presentation Overview

This presentation will focus on how companies can gain greater insight into customer behaviour on their Website and the crucial factors for creating a successful eBusiness.

In the self-service economy the Website is becoming a key customer interaction point and it is therefore critical to understand and manage activity.

Innovative companies are driving eBusiness demand through integrated marketing programs. They immediately seize new opportunities ahead of the competition and leverage the Web to gain optimal operating efficiency. But who's really in the driver's seat? The customer. More than ever, companies must embrace a unified view of their eBusiness customers. This means being completely 'visitor-centric', getting to know their changing behavior, shifting demographics and sometimes-fickle loyalties. Only then can businesses tailor Web promotions, optimize product mixes and segment merchandising strategies.

Understanding eBusiness performance is more than just a numbers game. The information Website operators need for this analysis is right at their fingertips - the wealth of 'clickstream' data available on how customers search, navigate, traverse, and purchase-or fail to purchase-on Websites grows every day. However, the problem has been how to make sense of the tidal wave of Web-related information pouring into company databases.
