SDForum is offering a special opportunity for Start-up Members to join Mark Gorenberg, Partner & Prashant Shah, Associate of Hummer Winblad Venture Partners for an exclusive Venture Forum Breakfast. Twelve entrepreneurs will be invited to participate in this intimate roundtable discussion, and each will be given the opportunity to make an informal introduction of their company to the group. This is a great opportunity to receive valuable feedback on your company!
Seats will be assigned by random selection from all Start-Up members requesting to participate. An application is required. Companies will be notified if they are selected to participate. Cost is $30. Sorry, no walk-ins.
Bio: Mark Gorenberg
Mark Gorenberg is a partner at Hummer Winblad Venture Partners. Mark has spent over 20 years in software development and has been a software manager in both large corporations and entrepreneurial environments. Prior to joining Hummer Winblad Venture Partners, Mark was a Senior Software Manager in advanced product development at Sun Microsystems. Mark's positions have included direct experience in a number of software technologies. Mark received a BSEE from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, an MSEE from the University of Minnesota, and an MS in engineering management from Stanford University.
Mark has served as a Director of start-up and public software companies, including AdForce (acquired by CMGI), NetDynamics (acquired by Sun Microsystems) and Scopus Technologies (acquired by Siebel Systems). He currently serves as a Director of Cenzic, Inc., DevX, Excelergy, MS2, ontheFRONTIER, Quiver and Viquity. He is also a member of the Corporation (Board of Trustees) of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
