Marketing SIG: Would You Hire You?
Presentation: Ever wonder what those recruiters and hiring managers think of your resume when they see it lying on their desk. Can you imagine what a person who has seen hundreds if not thousands applicants think. How do they dissect the resume? What kind of knowledge do you need to posses to be able to read people from a piece of paper? Well now you can know.
Denise Pringle, has agreed to come and speak on the subject of "Would you hire you". This event is for participants who are looking for new opportunities to gain fresh insights into their resumes and interviewing skills.
As part of the preparation for the event we would like to announce a little lottery. Anyone who is interested to have their resume dissected by Denise live please send your resume to the marketing SIG email (Marketing SIG (at) sdforum.org). The day of the event we will choose 10 lucky winners who will get to be picked at. Do not worry, your name will be omitted from the resume, you will be the only one to know the identity of the resume author.
Presenter: Denise Pringle has extensive experience in both domestic and international human resources. She has held executive HR positions in high technology and medical device industries. She has worked on transition teams for mergers and outsourcing and has had responsibility for training, organizational development, staffing and university relations. Denise received her Bachelor of Arts in Social Sciences with a concentration in History from San Jose State University.
