Marketing SIG Video Marketing: Getting More Value Without Breaking The Bank
Video Marketing: Getting More Value Without Breaking The Bank
Date; Monday, December 10th
Location: EMC, 2831 Mission College Blvd. Santa, Clara
We have been hearing about using video as an effective marketing tactic, butwhat are the ways that it can be done without driving your marketing budget through the roof? Will it attract viewers to your website? Will it make your site stickier? What is the relative value of posting your video on YouTube vs. your own web site? How can you use video with Facebook and Twitter to enhance your marketing?
The presentation will include ways that video can be used for marketing activities like:
- Building rapport with potential customers
- Customer References (testimonials)
- Corporate Image
- Training and Support
- Internal Communications
- Advertising and Marketing
- PR and Community Relations
Join Videographer Judy Blair (KeepsakePix) and Voice Actor Dana Marks (Dana Marks Voice) for this entertaining and informative presentation that will give you several action items to carry away from the meeting, and find out how you can include professional quality video in your marketing mix for a smaller investment than you think.
About the Speakers:
Dana Marks, Voice Actor, Dana Marks Voice
Dana Marks has been a Silicon Valley marketing executive for over 20 years. Prior to his marketing extensive work, he wrote part of the operating systems that helped IBM mainframes dominate the high-end computer market. Dana later served a number of start-ups in roles of marketing and influencer-relations. His work included preparing and delivering numerous speeches and presentations to large and small audiences on technical and marketing topics. Over the course of his career, Dana has launched more than 30 products.
After years of hearing “You've got a GREAT voice!” Dana decided to embark in a new career direction as a voice actor. Through voice and technical training, he’s been able to master the techniques and strategies necessary for success in this very competitive field. Dana’s clients include companies in the technology industry, and he has become one of the ‘voices of the City of Cupertino’, recording public service announcements and bumpers for radio and television.
