Social media is descending on us in our jobs, in out products and in our business. It is a cascade happening in companies evangelized by early adopters who are well perched to adapt to the changing landscape.
This session will propose answers to critical questions that different teams inside a company are facing - metrics, processes, organization - and help marketing think through the issues to make social media marketing matter.
Sudha Jamthe is passionate about social technologies, platform play and mobile space. She is engrossed in the social web phenomenon and helps businesses adapt social media with process and tech infrastructure and extends products to social media. She is passionate about developer platforms and metrics and leads the Bay Area Facebook Meetup. She is a venture mentor at MIT and social media adviser for DEMO Conference.
She spent 10 yrs of her life in marketing in extending large companies like Harcourt, Cabletron, Starwoods Hotels , Time Warner, GE Medical to the Internet and Mobile. She co-founded a mobile middleware startup Coola, ecommerce startup Moomli, Facebook Micropayments startup Socialmints and most recently has forayed into the twitter world as co-founder of tmeet, a twitter location application.
