Before EMC Sheryl was the CEO of a consultancy practice and held key sales, marketing and financial positions for Fortune 500 companies including IBM, PepsiCo and Deloitte TouchÉ She is on the Board of Directors for the Association for Corporate Growth, Advisory Board for Watermark (formerly Forum for Entrepreneur's & Executives) and Founding Officer and President of the Construction Financial Management Association. Bernard Golden has been called a “cloud guru.” He is the CEO of HyperStratus, a Silicon Valley cloud computing consultancy which works with clients in the US and throughout the world. The firm's clients include Sensato Capital, Sun Microsystems, and the Silicon Valley Education Foundation. HyperStratus provides services in the areas of application security, system architecture and design, TCO analysis, and project implementation. Bernard is the Cloud Computing Advisor for CIO Magazine. His blog has been called “brilliant and incisive” and is read by tens of thousands of people each month. The blog's influence was recognized when it was named a “Top 50 Cloud Computing Blog” by Sys-Con Media. Bernard's writings on cloud computing have also been published by the New York Times and the Harvard Business Review. Bernard is the author of Virtualization for Dummies, the most popular book on the subject ever published. He is also the co-author of Creating the Infrastructure for Cloud Computing (Intel Press, 2010). Bernard is a popular and engaging presenter, and has keynoted conferences from Moscow to Peru.
Mathew Lodge, Senior Director, Cloud Product Marketing at VMware
Mathew Lodge is responsible for the go to market of vCloud services with VMware's service provider partners. Mathew began his career at Schlumberger/Omnes, helping to connect six countries to the Internet for the first time. That led to router product management leadership at Cisco and then two start-ups, a year as a consultant in a $400m trade secret lawsuit, and most recently product marketing leadership roles at Symantec. He holds a Master's in Computer Systems Engineering from the University of York, and is an alumnus of London Business School.
John Morley, Director, West Coast Executive Briefing Center
Ten year EMC employee in Europe and US. Leads EMC Private Cloud strategy briefings and workshops with several hundred companies each year. Current interests include: enabling Business Process Management, User-Centric IT Service Management, and facilitating best practice cloud models. Prior role as Business Program Manager for Enterprise Product Group at Dell Corp. Europe Manufacturing.
Chenxi Wang, Ph.D., Vice President & Principal Analyst, Security and Risk, Forrester Research
Chenxi serves Security & Risk professionals. She is a leading expert on content security, application security, and vulnerability management. Chenxi leads the effort at Forrester to build the application security and Web 2.0 security research portfolio. Chenxi's research builds on her in-depth technical insights and her years of research experience. Chenxi covers topics such as best practices for content and application security, emerging threats, and operational aspects of security deployment. Chenxi has also written about the China technology market and closely follows the technology adoption trends in that market.
