SOLD OUT! Tax Issues for Job Seekers & Indep. Consultants
Find out how to maximize next year's tax return and how to set yourself up to make your money last.
This program is sold-out.
Thomas Bondi (bio), Principal, Berger/Lewis Accountancy
If you're looking for a job, you might be surprised by how many things you can "write-off" on your tax return. And on the flip side, if you're doing some consulting on the side, you may be surprised by how much your tax bill will be at the end of the year.
Come find out how to maximize next year's tax return and how to set yourself up to make your money last. Tom Bondi, a CPA and tax expert, will show you what you need to know about existing and new tax laws as they relate to you. In this interactive brown bag session, you will learn:
- Expenses that are tax-deductible to job seekers;
- Pricing your services as a contractor so you can live off it - AFTER taxes;
- Timing of cashing out of stocks and stock options;
- What is needed for setting up your "accounting records" for your "consulting business";
- Why you must file returns separately for your business, and in what form;
- Also, retirement planning issues.
Please bring questions for your situation to ask, they may be the same for others!
This is a members only event. If you'd like to learn more about membership or would like to join, please visit our membership page.
