Dean Davison, Vice President, Research, neoIT: Dean Davison developed experience in both the supply side and the demand side of the services economy. He worked for hardware vendors and service providers in marketing with resposibilities that ranged from analyzing mergers or aquisitions to training sales teams about there competitive landscape. Prior to neoIT Dean was VP of strategic outsourcing at Nautilus Advisors where he established the research and publishing practice.
Andre Durand, Chairman and CEO, Ping Identity Corporation: Andre Durand is a twelve year veteran of the enterprise software industry, a recognized leader in the identity industry and a pioneer behind the concepts of the digital identity network. In addition to his role as CEO of the Ping Identity, the co-founder and co-chair Digital ID World, the official identity industry conference and magazine. Prior to Ping Identity, Mr. Durand founded Jabber, Inc., a leading global provider of in instant messaging and prsence management platforms serving both the carrier and enterprise markets.
Ross Tisnovsky, Vice President, ITO Research, Everest Research Institute: Ross Tisnovsky has specialized in developing and implementing IT-enabled business performance improvement at Fortune 500 companies for more then a decade. As head of the Institute's ITO research, he leads a team of analysts in developing leading-edge thinking on market trends in the high-tech industry and the best practices in IT outsourcing.
Rusty Weston, Journalist: Rusty Weston's background includes 24 years as a journalist, primarily and services areas. As founding Editor in Chief of Global Services, a media brand focused on business and technology services, Rusty managed a team of journalists, magazine and website production experts located in India and the United States. Rusty's experience includes eight years at the helm of Information Week Research where he conducted domestic and global studies Rusty's most recent assignment as editor of a global business publication proved pivotal to the inception of My Global Career, the first careers site serving the unique information requirements of global workers.
Michael Vax, CEO, Luxoft Canada: Michael Vax is the CEO of Luxoft Canada, which specializes in Agile projects distributed between a nearshore team in Vancouver, and offshore team in Russia, and customer teams in North America. Michael is one of the organizers of Agile Vancouver Prior to joining Luxoft, Michael was the Vice President of Product Development at WebCT-one of the world's leading providers of e-learning. At WebCT, he managed a 100+ person product development department. Michael has successfully led the transition from WebCT original plan-driven proces to SCRUM.
Sylvia Burk, Partner, Pillsbury Winthrop, Introduction: Ms. Burks is a member of the Corporate & Securities and Emerging Growth & Technology groups at Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman's Palo Alto office. Ms. Burks' practice focuses on the representation of established and emerging high-technology companies in the areas of corporate securities, mergers, acquisitions and strategic alliances, intellectual property protection, as well as general corporate representation. Ms. Burks' particular expertise is in handling transactions involving European clients. In the course of her work, she has developed strong international contacts in the legal and high-tech communities.
