About the Panelists
Steve's broad experience in compensation plan design, analysis and consulting derives from a solid 23-year career as a practicing human resource professional. For the past 10 years his compensation focus has ranged from creating and implementing compensation programs and systems for small pre- and post-IPO software companies; mid- to large-sized manufacturing and warehousing businesses with R&D and international workforces; and businesses in the financial services industry; to fulfilling corporate-level compensation, benefits and HRIS responsibilities for a Fortune 50 corporation in Mountain View, CA.
Gary Omura has over twenty years of human resources management experience, specializing in the areas of employee compensation and benefits. He has played a lead role in the integration of compensation and benefit programs for a number of mergers & acquisitions within the high-technology industries, including Wind River-Integrated Systems Inc., KLA-Tencor, Unisys-Convergent Technologies, and GE-Calma.
Jay Andalis has over 20 years of management experience, with the last 10 years being spent as an HR practitioner.For the past several years his focus has been with Execustaff as a Sr. HR Generalist for high-tech startups. Jay currently oversees the needs of nearly 30 clients that include companies in software development, telecommunications, and biotech. Jay has hands on experience implementing the Human Resources infrastructure for his developing clients. This includes recruiting, compensation plan design, benefits, performance management, and incentive plans Jay received his B.A degree from St. Mary's College of California.
