    That all important resume... has it gotten you interviews? Sometimes a great resume won't get you an interview, but a poor resume will insure that you don't! Whether you're going back to the drawing board, or simply want to do a little tweaking, this session can help.



    JoAnne will start with some resume do's and don'ts, and then the time is yours. Bring your resume on an overhead and receive specific feedback just for you! This will be a highly interactive and hands-on workshop of "critiquing and tweaking" allowing you to learn by real example.



    This workshop is intended to be a friendly and supportive experience to lead you a step closer to your next job by creating a strong resume that sells you in the most positive light.

    JoAnne Auerbach, Ventures Connect, Inc.

    JoAnne Auerbach is a Sr. Partner in Ventures Connect, Inc. a search firm that specializes in building technology companies, primarily emerging ones. She is responsible for the company's "Business Management" practice with focus upon building corporate and product marketing, business development, sales, and professional services functions.



    JoAnne joined Ventures Connect in January of this year from JG Auerbach & Associates, a search and staffing consulting firm she founded in 1995. Her recent clients include early-stage technology companies Zone Labs, Xigo, iMckesson, and Pilot Network Services as well as established companies Nortel, Visa, and McKesson. She previously held Human Resources and staffing leadership positions with Octel Communications, Hitachi Data Systems, PacTel Spectrum Services, and the City & County of San Francisco. She is also a long-time member of the San Francisco Chamber of Commerce Job Forum.
