For Your Company

Dear fellow founders,
For most of us, seeking venture capital funding is second nature. After all, to create a successful startup, don't you need VC money?
Increasingly, however, the answer is no. Companies such as OddPost, Konfabulator, Bloglines, Flickr, and even Microsoft have created tremendous value without ever raising venture capital. On the other hand, as the record of such startups as Google, Amazon, and Yahoo! shows, accepting venture capital can help you achieve greatness.
How do you know when it's the right time to seek venture capital? And what are some of the alternatives?
This month's speaker, Robert Winter, can help you understand the issues around raising venture capital. As both entrepreneur and venture capitalist, he's been on both sides of many a term sheet, and can discuss the pros and cons of going the VC route.
As usual, we will restrict attendance to the first 25 founders and CEOs that sign up, so sign up fast!
