    We're pleased to present Peter Fuller, marketing and messaging guru, as this month's guest speaker. Peter has demonstrated several times that by adopting the right message and deploying the right marketing programs, startups can boost their profile, fill their sales pipeline, and achieve lucrative exits.

    About the Presenter

    Peter C. Fuller, VP Marketing, netZentry

    With 13 years of experience in public relations, marketing and journalism, Peter Fuller knows how to build brands, market companies and products, and increase company valuations.



    For Corvigo, his Message to Market formula built the marketing department, brand image and lead generation machine that put more than $7.5M into the pipeline with $1.2M in closed deals within four months of the programs'launch. The company sold for $41.5M six months after its $5M funding round by Sequoia Capital. For Tumbleweed, he re-engineered the marketing department, established an integrated, five-quarter marketing program and re-branded the company. Within eight weeks of his programs being launched, Peter had added more than $12M to the pipeline on a $486,000 marketing programs spend. His programs are based on solid ROI and performance metrics that insure maximum return for every dollar spent and have been proven in several companies.



    His booklet on press relations is used in several colleges around the world. He's also written for Brandweek, Click Magazine and several newspapers and been quoted on marketing topics by The Wall Street Journal, CNN, NBC 11, AP Radio and many others.



    In 2000, he founded the Internet Measurement Initiative with an extremely limited budget. The non-profit association was a catalyst for defining new ways to measure digital user audience data. He's also the executive director of the Mobile Marketing Association (MMA), reporting to a board of directors that includes Procter & Gamble, Verizon Wireless, Cingular Wireless, AT&T, VeriSign and other companies both in the United States and EMEA.



    Peter also serves on the advisory boards of Symphoniq, PhoneBites and SceneDot and on the board of directors of Hands of Hope, an African AIDS relief organization. He is currently the VP of Marketing at netZentry and does consulting.
