    Presentation Overview

There's an old saying: The more things change, the more they stay the same. Venture investing is full of such timeless principles like, "Bet on people rather than ideas." On the other hand, the world of venture capital is full of timely ideas. In 1999, it was online pet food. In 2000, optical networking, and in 2004, social networking. As entrepreneurs, we have to balance the timeless and timely if we are to achieve lasting success. This month's Founders Forum will focus on this difficult balancing act.

To help us with our discussion, we're delighted to announce as guest speakers four different venture capitalists from some of the most well-known VC firms in the Valley. Michele Law of Greylock, Paul Hsiao of NEA, Rajeev Batra of Mobius, and Victor Westerlind of InterWest have kindly agreed to give us their perspective on the timeless principles and timely ideas that they're looking for. Bring your executive summaries!

As usual, we will restrict attendance to the first 25 founders and CEOs that sign up, so sign up fast!
