    Presentation Overview

    Especially in this current economic climate, entrepreneurs at some point weigh in their minds the option of selling their company. Many of these founders have never been the targets of an acquisition, so they rely on the counsel of Advisors, law firms, Board members, mentors, and friends. However, nothing can really prepare founders for many of the unique challenges facing them AS FOUNDERS throughout the acquisition process, especially the first time.

    Using a slightly different format than usual, this Founders’ Forum event brings together some of our members who have recently passed through to the “other side” of the M&A gate, so that they can share their experiences. We will cover questions in the following general categories:

    • Things to consider BEFORE trying to sell your company
    • General issues during the M&A process
    • The deal closed … NOW what?!

    This has been a popularly requested topic all summer, so we hope to see you there!
