Tim Bailey, President, Alliance-Strategies, Inc. www.tbailey.net

    Presentation Overview

One of the most critical skills a founder needs to practice is negotiation. One of my professors at Harvard Business School, Bill Sahlman, once told me that an entrepreneur is someone who tries to build a business using resources beyond her control. Especially when you're just starting your company, you're always negotiating, whether with Venture Capitalists, customers, vendors, employees, or even your family.

To be a good negotiator you need to understand both the science and art of negotiation. This month, the Founders Forum is pleased to present Tim Bailey of Alliance-Strategies as our guest speaker. Tim will lead is in an interactive seminar in which you will get an introduction to the science of negotiations, and have an opportunity to learn some of the art of negotiations. Our session will feature a presentation on negotiation skills, and give you an opportunity to experience negotiations in a role-play of a real life alliance situation.

As usual, we will restrict attendance to the first 25 founders and CEOs that sign up, so sign up fast!
