Program Description–Begins promptly @ 7 PM
If your career is in leading engineering organizations you have to be a bit of a gymnast. Engineering managers, directors and VPs are sitting in a perpetual hot seat in many organizations. You’re most likely constantly under the gun to deliver more products of higher quality packed with more features. And you’re being asked to do it in increasingly challenging circumstances, across time zones, with multi-cultural teams, in a highly collaborative environment that includes intense interactions with people from other functional areas, contractors and customers. In the entrepreneurial culture of Silicon Valley, quite a few engineering leaders find themselves in transitions because the companies they work for are acquired or disappeared. If you're looking for a new job, a promotion, or simply to stay marketable in today's challenging environment, you will benefit from the insights of our expert panel of recruiter, career coach, and engineering leaders on job search, networking, and career management. Their experiences will help you to survive and even thrive in these “interesting times.”
