    About the Presenter

    Ron Mandel

    Ron Mandel is the Manager of the Global Developer Services program at Openwave Systems Inc. providing support and services to the more than 200,000 developers on the Openwave platform. He has been responsible for development of sample code, supplemental technical documentation for developers, and the recently published Application Style Guides. Ron is also one of the authors of WAP Development with WML and WMLScript published by SAMS. He is the in house expert on WMLScript, and leads the a team which is based both in Redwood City, California as well as Belfast, Northern Ireland.



    Prior to joining Openwave, Ron was in the JavaSoftware Division of Sun Microsystems. He has been working with Internet technologies since the 1980's. Ron holds a BS in Geophysics from the University of California at Santa Cruz.
