    Presentation Overview

Join us at SDForum's Emerging Tech SIG on Tuesday, January 11, 2005, when CTO David Temkin and Software Architect Max Carlson of Laszlo Systems will discuss where the Web has been, where it needs to be headed, and how Laszlo can help us get there.

Laszlo is a platform for the development and delivery of rich Internet applications on the World Wide Web. On October 5, 2004, Laszlo became Open source software under the OSI-certified Common Public License. On November 18, 2004, IBM's alphaWorks released a preview of an Eclipse IDE for Laszlo, providing a rich editing and debugging environment for LZX, Laszlo's XML markup language.

The Laszlo platform powers rich Internet applications from some of the world's leading Web sites, including Earthlink, Yahoo, Behr Paints, Ziff-Davis Media, the Internet Archive and La Quinta Inns.
