Mobile Composite Applications in Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA).
Mobilizing the enterprise is gaining increased interest with many organizations and for many companies their first foray into the mobilization of their workforce is Email and PIM, however the next big growth area is likely to be the mobilization of Line-of-Business applications.
NetManage will discuss the challenges of building composite mobile applications and the complexities of backend integration in the context of an enterprise SOA strategy.
Peter Havart-Simkin, Senior Vice President, Strategic Development, NetManage
Roy Mitchell, Senior Product Manager, NetManage
Mr. Havart-Simkin joined NetManage in 1998 as Senior Vice President, Worldwide Marketing, becoming an Officer of the company in January 1999. He was appointed Senior Vice President, Worldwide Strategic Development in November 1999. Mr. Havart-Simkin joined the company with the acquisition of FTP Software, where he was Chief Technology Officer.
Most recently, Mr. Havart-Simkin was with Firefox Communications, Inc., from 1989 until 1996 when FTP Software acquired the company. Mr. Havart-Simkin founded Firefox and served as a Director. He held positions as Corporate Vice President and Chief Technical Officer as well as Vice President of Marketing and Product Strategy. Previously, he has held various positions in sales and marketing management and business development with both hardware and software companies over a twenty-five year period.
Mr. Mitchell joined NetManage in 2003 as Senior Product Manager for OnWeb.
Mr. Mitchell has 10 year of experience in Product Management with Enterprise software companies such as Documentum and CommerceOne. Most recently he was a Senior Product Manager with Motiva Inc. Previously; he has held various positions in Pre-Sales, marketing and consulting over a twenty year period.
