    TITLE: SaaS, Cloud, Web 2.0... it’s time for Business Intelligence to evolve!

    ABSTRACT

    This year, organizations around the world will spend $5.6 billion trying to analyze, understand and monetize business, operational, and IT data.

    Despite this massive investment, these organizations will be unable to keep up with the exploding data volumes, competitive pressures, and new opportunities that arise as businesses become increasingly interconnected. 

    In the net-centric world where data is constantly flowing, with millions of internal and external user communities, and where relevant, accurate, and timely insights are needed at the moment when employees, customers and suppliers connect, the key challenge is to achieve continuous processing of this "on-the-move" data, delivering insights to people, applications, and devices when, how, and in the format which they can use.  

    During this session we'll explore business drivers influencing continuous business analysis, past approaches, and strategic recommendations for next-generation architecture.

     

    BIO

    Roman Bukary joined Truviso from SAP, where most recently he served as vice president in the Global Partner Ecosystem Group, responsible for numerous SAP strategic technology partnerships. Previously at SAP, he launched the company's analytic application business after holding positions in composite applications and business intelligence solution marketing. Earlier in his career, Roman was a co-founding executive and vice president of product marketing at Rearden Commerce, a service-oriented architecture personal services procurement firm. At Rearden, he was responsible for the company's marketing, corporate strategy, and strategic alliances. Prior to Rearden, he was part of Informatica Corporation’s management team, which took the company public. Roman also has broad experience in building and leading product and industry marketing groups, corporate strategy, and product management with companies including Baan and Parametric Technology Corporation. He started his career as an aeronautical design engineer at Pratt & Whitney, UTC, and holds M.S. and B.S. degrees in mechanical engineering, as well as a B.S. in psychology, from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, N.Y.
