    Dave McClure

Dave is the irrepressible voice of Simply Hired, and near as we can tell he never sleeps. Like the Lorax, he speaks for those who cannot: all the hard-at-work geeks at Simply Hired. Dave started out a geek himself, consulting for Microsoft and Intel until launching e-commerce startup Aslan Computing in 1995. After Aslan's acquisition in 1998, Dave helped other Silicon Valley startups get started by running technology user groups for SDForum and SVASE. In 2001 he joined PayPal and founded the PayPal Developer Network, a 12-step program for eBay developers recovering from the effects of uncommented code. When not playing ultimate, blogging, or enjoying his wife's music, Dave spends most waking hours sending email. Dave graduated from the Johns Hopkins University with an engineering degree in Applied Mathematics, and a minor in bad puns.
