    Presentation Overview

Our July meeting will introduce the next major upgrade to Active Server Pages, ASP.NET. Features like Xcopy deployment, control-based encapsulation, clean separation of code from HTML, strongly-typed compiled languages and event-based page processing will change the way you develop UI for server-based Web applications. Alex Viera's presentation will cover the ASP.NET Page Framework from the ground up: architecture, ASP.NET syntax, server controls and control families, including intrinsic controls, list controls and rich controls. We'll also hear about business objects, web services and migration issues.
