Innovation is accelerating in the area of health and fitness sensors, wearable devices, and mobile solutions. It seems that every day there is some new device or application aimed at improving some aspect of our well-being. However, this is currently a very fragmented landscape, with silos of information and inconsistent experiences.

Companies like Apple, Samsung and Microsoft are positioning themselves to become the central collection point for health-related data. In this session of the Healthcare IT SIG, we will explore the technical, business, clinical and regulatory aspects of interoperability between devices and software.
