Dr. Chen is currently Digital Health and Innovation Principal at Kaiser Permanente where she works with KP's IT and Care Management Institute on digital health strategy. Dr. Chen studied Economics & Health Policy at Harvard before completing her MD at UCSF and coming to Stanford to train in Internal Medicine. Along the way, she worked as a market analyst writing about the digital health landscape for ONC at Health 2.0 and was an early employee at HealthTap in a product marketing role where she founded and scaled its physician network to 6,000+ members. Dr. Chen currently also serves as Medical Director at StartX Med, the Stanford-affiliated technology accelerator, where she works with early stage digital health, device, and biotechnology companies.
