Description

  • Title: Who Needs Leads?

Speaker: David Taber, author of the new Prentice Hall book, “Salesforce.com Secrets of Success”, CEO of SalesLogistix

Abstract:  There isn't a sales and marketing organization in the world that says they have enough leads.  But the last thing you should be doing right now is investing in Leads:  they cost money, and they don't generate revenue... just activity.  What you really want more of are the sales cycles that engage the people who are going to close.  In this session, SalesLogistix CEO and Prentice-Hall author will discuss how to develop and cultivate prospects that are motivated to do business with you, and what to do with the Lead database you do have.

Bio: David Taber is the author of the new Prentice Hall book, “Salesforce.com Secrets of Success” and is the CEO of SalesLogistix, a California consultancy focused on business process improvement through use of SaaS CRM systems.  David's firm has built and extended revenue generation systems in companies from 5 to 500 sales reps, with clients in North America, Europe, India, and Israel.  David has over 20 years experience in high tech marketing and 25 years in the software industry, including 10 years at the VP level or above at such companies as SRI international, AT&T, Sun, Sybase, and ILOG.
