Windows SIG: Web Service Mashup with ASP.NET
The Monthly Meeting of the Windows SIG
Web Service Mashup with ASP.NET
Martin will demonstrate how to build a "geography-aware" merchant site by integrating a number of web services into a single seamless application. Using Google Checkout and Google Maps for his example, Martin will show the concrete steps needed to integrate a web storefront, including some "map-based" navigation, front-end cart management, and back-end order processing, and will take several deep dives into technical details, like XML serialization, building classes from XSD files, and calling non-SOAP web services. Finally - a practical example of a mashup!
