    Presentation Overview

Many people look forward to the vision of using Web Services for low-cost ubiquitous eBusiness. However the current reality falls short as lack of standardization in the areas of security, reliable message delivery and other areas mean that Web Services are being used primarily within the enterprise. This presentation provides an overview of over 20 different aspects of Web Services that will benefit from standardization together with an assessment of their current and likely future state of development. As a result of attending the presentation, IT and business managers and executives will possess a much clearer picture of what is needed to make web services for business work and the features they should look for in a solution. A "Business Web Services Scorecard" whitepaper of over 80 pages will be available to attendees that covers the presentation content in full detail.
