    These private, 25-minute meetings allow start-up members to request advice, make a pitch for funding or get feedback on a business plan. These appointments are filled by random selection from all pre-registered Start-Up members who fit the eligibility criteria outlined in the VC One on One Process.

    Cardinal Venture Capital invests in enterprise software, wireless communications and internet infrastructure companies.

    Christopher J. Hadsell participates in all aspects of the firm's operations, including fundraising, financial reporting, capital calls and distributions, and deal sourcing and evaluation.

    Prior to joining Cardinal Venture Capital, Chris was chief financial officer for Benchmark Capital funds I, II and III. In addition to handling all financial aspects of Benchmark, such as treasury, finance, accounting, budgeting and tax, Chris was also responsible for Benchmark operational aspects, such as MIS, legal, personnel and Web site management.

    Chris' venture capital experience also includes positions as Associate and CFO at Alpha Partners. Procedures developed by Chris were later used by PriceWaterhouse as part of its venture capital course curriculum.

    Prior to his involvement in venture capital, Chris co-founded Symphony Medical Inc., a medical practice management company, where he was an account executive and senior vice president of finance & chief financial officer.

    Chris also has more than seven years operations and senior management experience in finance, marketing and business development with CooperVision and Cooper Laboratories. While at Cooper, Chris also managed acquisitions for the company.

    Chris received his B.A. in business administration with high honors from the University of California at Berkeley and his M.B.A from the Haas School of Business, University of California at Berkeley and London School of Business.

    Christian Borcher has been with Cardinal since it's founding and participates in all aspects of the firm's business. In addition, he works closely with their portfolio companies assisting with fundraising, strategy and planning etc.

    Prior to joining Cardinal Venture Capital, Christian was a lawyer with Scandinavia's largest law firm Bech-Bruun Dragsted. At BBD, Christian did M&A work for global high tech companies and specialized in deal structuring and security aspects of financings, as well as in restructurings and recapitalizations. Christian has taught contract and property law at Copenhagen University, Faculty of Law, served as Chairman of the Board of the Association of Young Lawyers, and is admitted to the High Court of Denmark.

    Christian has founded and successfully built two import and distribution companies of his own, which he ran for seven years.

    He received his MBA from Stanford Business School, and his Summa Cum Laude Masters and Bachelor of Law Degrees from Copenhagen University.
