Who are "venture capitalists"... really? What motivates them besides money? Are they all the same? You've read all the articles, and seen them speak in public. Come get your questions answered from an ex-VC who has also funded venture capital firms.
Helen Ingerson knows venture capital from both sides, and can speak to the ins-and-outs of the VC world. Join us and get answers to many of your questions, including:
- What do you need to know to get funding from them NOW
- What's going on in their industry?
- What can/can't they do for you? What will/won't they do?
- What do they do... really? How are they paid?
- How do they figure out what your valuation should be, what goes in your term sheet?
- What legal rights do they have once they give you money that you know about and what rights do they have you DON'T know about?
- And more!
