    These private, 25-minute meetings allow start-up members to request advice, make a pitch for funding or get feedback on a business plan. These appointments are filled by random selection from all pre-registered Start-Up members who fit the eligibility criteria outlined in the VC One on One Process.

    Peter Roshko, General Partner
    Mr. Roshko, a General Partner, has over 16 years of venture capital and consulting expertise. Mr. Roshko was a General Partner at Mohr, Davidow Ventures (MDV) in Menlo Park, California for 9 years where he concentrated in software, medical devices and services. He was a Board member of Vantive Corporation for 9 years from it’s founding through its IPO and subsequent sale to Peoplesoft. Additionally, Mr. Roshko is currently a Board member of Trust Company of America (with Mr. Lefkoff).

    Prior to joining MDV, Mr. Roshko was a Senior Consultant with Arthur Andersen & Co. in San Francisco where he planned, designed and implemented management information systems for a variety of client engagements.

    Mr. Roshko holds an MBA from Harvard Business School (1984) and a Bachelor of Science degree (cum laude) in Industrial Engineering, from Stanford University (1980).

    Todd Jaquez-Fissori, Associate
    Todd Jaquez-Fissori joined Boulder Ventures as an Associate in the California office specializing in software, Internet infrastructure, and wireless industries. He holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from The Wharton School, with a concentration in Business-to-Business eCommerce Management. While at Wharton, Mr. Jaquez-Fissori was employed by eCom Partners, a Connecticut-based venture capital firm specializing in Internet early-stage ventures. At eCom Partners, he was responsible for new deal generation in the Mid-Atlantic region while also providing due diligence support and advising portfolio companies on strategic issues. He observed on three different boards and helped to incubate several companies. Todd worked as a Senior Consultant in the Wharton Small Business Development Center, advising a variety of Internet start-ups on issues ranging from marketing and sales to product development and strategic decision-making. Todd currently serves as a board observer at three portfolio companies.

    Prior to attending Wharton, Mr. Jaquez-Fissori was a Senior Investment and Operations Analyst at Mayfield Fund, Menlo Park, California. He worked on private equity valuations, analyzed public securities and designed and implemented various process improvements in Fund operating systems. For three years before joining Mayfield Fund, he was a Senior Business Consultant and Auditor for Arthur Andersen LLP in San Francisco, where he specialized in the financial services sector.

    Mr. Jaquez-Fissori received a B. S. in Accounting from Penn State University while simultaneously running his own successful business for three years. Todd and his wife, Linda live in the city of San Francisco and enjoy hiking, biking, surfing, and taking weekend trips.
