Visual C++.NET provides native code developers a wide range of significant new features. Learn about 64 bit and other enhanced processor support; improved compiler performance with Whole Program Optimization; better STL features; new Edit and Continue opportunities; new debugger features; enhancements to MFC and ATL; and much more.
Terry Leeper is a Program Manager on the Microsoft Visual C++ team dealing mainly with the compiler optimizer (both 32 and 64 bit), baseline tools, and libraries. Before coming to Microsoft, he was Director of Engineering of an embedded tools company and was a compiler developer prior to that.
