Windows SIG: Rapid App. Development in ADO.NET & WinForms
Heinrich Gantenbein, IDesign
Heinrich will use the rapid application development (RAD) tools in VS.NET to produce, in minutes, a database-driven application that combines VB.NET and C# code. He will discuss the framework objects and generated code used to achieve this, and highlight advantages and disadvantages of the approach used. Finally, he will address problems with RAD for multi-tier development and workarounds for the current version of ADO.NET.
