Windows SIG: New Developer Features in IIS7

Topic: “New developer features in IIS7”
    Presented by:  Drew Robbins

Come learn the new developer features of Internet Information Server 7, which will ship with Windows Server 2008.  We'll look at:
    - the rebuilt extensibility model (FastCGI,etc.),
    - the new distributed configuration system (including application deployment),
    - the improved support for common Web programming languages like PHP,
    - how to develop applications that use the best of PHP and ASP.NET, and
    - how to improve the performance of your web hosting on IIS7.
We'll look at examples and dive into code.  No knowledge of PHP required.

In this role, he’s been speaking to ASP.NET and PHP developers around the world about IIS 7.0 and Windows Server 2008.
