Windows SIG: Microsoft Surface
Join us at the Windows SIG meeting on April 23 at the Microsoft Silicon Valley campus in Mountain View. Food and drinks will be served starting at 6:30 PM. The meeting will begin at 7:00 PM. Please RSVP to [email protected] so we can order the appropriate amount.
The topic of our meeting is Microsoft Surface. Created out of Microsoft Research starting in 2001, Surface was conceived as a way to mix the physical and virtual worlds. The device was launched by Bill Gates with great fanfare and can now be found in high end retail and hospitality locations and is also used in specialized applications.
Our presenter, Dan King, is a Technology Architect at the Microsoft Technology Center in Mountain View, CA. Dan conducts technology discussions and Proof-of-Concept engagements with Microsoft customers and partners on a wide range of topics ranging from large scale website construction to performance analysis to Surface development.
Note: This event is free to SDForum members and Microsoft employees. Non-SDForum members can either pay $15 at the door or join SDForum as a member for 12 months for $125.
