ADO.NET Overview for ADO Classic Developers
Those developers familiar with COM-based ADO (ADO Classic or ADOc) should be able to get a head start on the conversion process after Bill Vaughn's discussion of the new ADO.NET data access interface built into the .NET Framework. He'll touch on where ADOc makes sense and what issues might still be unresolved. You'll also discover the basics of ADO.NET development--what's fast and what's faster.
Subject to the whims and foibles of the commercial printing process Bill may have a few interesting gifts for our raffle.
