SAM SIG: What Does a QA Architect Do?
(and why should I care?)
What Does a QA Architect Do? (and why should I care?)
Well defined architecture has been recognized as a key success factor for software systems for years. Yet poor quality software continues to cost the US economy tens of billions of years a year. A few companies have seen fit to explicitly apply architecture to QA, or QA to architecture. Our speaker, John Steele, has had titles like Chief Enterprise QA Architect and Chief Test Architect. John will connect the dots between architecture and QA, and show us how architecture can inform and be applied to QA and QA to architecture -- and what the role of QA Architect is and means and is about.
