  • Spring has become a widely used lightweight framework

    Presentation:

    Deep Dive of Spring

Spring has become a very popular and widely used lightweight framework in recent years. Its goal is to make it easier to develop and test J2EE applications. It achieves its goal by providing a set of useful and flexible services that are commonly needed in a typical J2EE application. This highly technical presentation will explore the concepts, details and best practices of each of the following services in Spring framework – Spring Core Container, Spring DAO and Spring AOP.

Code samples will be used to demonstrate some of the capabilities of the Spring services.

Speaker: Hien Luu, Sr. Software Engineer, Yahoo! Inc

Prior to working at Yahoo!, Hien worked at several large and small corporations. He has worked on many enterprise applications using J2EE technologies. Hien has a MS Software Engineering degree from San Jose State University and is an instructor at UCSC Extension school.
